The village of Fornells is on the western side of a large, almost landlocked bay, and with traditional, low-rise white washed houses and pretty natural harbour, has a unique undeveloped, laid back feel to it. Fornells does not have a beach but the sheltered bay is perfect for windsurfing, sailing, water skiing and diving. A few shops, bars and restaurants dot the harbourside and the village is very popular with day trippers.
